Sidewalk Art

This was neatly drawn in the sidewalk on the Johnson Creek Trail. I doubt it's an indicator that any is growing around there, probably just a bit of art or wishful thinking.

After the rain

A lot of brush got washed downstream in Johnson Creek after the last rain.

Since getting back to home turf after an August trip, we've been walking all our favorite trails. This paste up graffiti was in one of the tunnels you have to pass through to traverse the Johnson Creek Trail.

Saw this in a tunnel on the Johnson Creek Trail back in July. It is probably painted over now with the gray or mauve paint.

We saw this gnarly old tree trunk along a creek bank under the freeway the other day. I wonder what the tree looked liked before it was cut down.

We were walking up Johnson Trail the other day when we encountered this elaborate graffiti mural which I confess I didn't really understand.
