Wearing of The Green

 On St. Patrick's Day, we went out for lunch and then to an event

celebrating one of Old Austin's favorite entertainment venues. I got suited up for the occasion. 

Crepes alive!

We love this smallish crepe cafe in downtown's hotel district. Yes, it's called Cafe Crepe. The one I had the other day is the Greek version with olives and feta cheese. So good.

Top chopped

This delicious chopped salad was Linda's entree at La Traviata for lunch the other day.

BLT-- old-fashioned and just right

We went to lunch at Dirty Martin's the other day and Linda ordered this delicious bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich. I want to try that one myself next time.

Beet salad -- hard to beat

I was out lunching with a friend the other day and she ordered this beautiful beet salad.

Nice lunch

We were invited to a nice lunch at a new east side eatery the other day where we were treated tor a taste of a new Zach Scott play. Here you see us with our friends Karin and William.

Lunch Bunch

We had a terrific lunch the other day at a new restaurant called Intero. It featured a preview of the play "Sunday in the Park with George." Here we are with two nice lunch-mates.

This delectable dish was served to Linda at Cipollina on a recent Saturday, complete with its own iron skillet.
