That's Weird

This is a yard display in a neighborhood that is fairly far north for us with the limitations we are imposing on ourselves just now.

More Mannequin Carnage

Couldn't resist another mannequin one from Jackie. I like the lively stride from the poster versus the downed mannequins.

New Shop Takes Shape

Next to the high-end ladies' clothing place Julian Gold on West Sixth, where ArtWorks used to be, a new Julian Gold bridal shop is taking shape. Right now there are just pieces of mannequins. ArtWorks has taken up residence toward the back of this center. I usually reserve the reflection pictures for my other, neglected blog but I'm being lazy today. The old ArtWorks location was subjected to many reflection pictures like this one on Visible Woman.

Dapper Shopping

I'm out of town (again). So I'm running a series of shop window reflections from around Austin while I'm gone. Today we have a dapper male mannequin with a background of a U.S. map in the always delightful shop Blackmail on South Congress. Gail Chovan's chic shop includes one of a kind creations and fashion goods. Her window displays are beyond cool. That's your frumpy photographer reflected in summer urban trekking clothes. Gail is in Paris for the summer with her amazing kids (see her blog).

Someone To Watch Over Me

How long has this angel mannequin been sitting in a tree on South Lamar? Yesterday wasn't the first time I walked there. But it's the first time I noticed her there. She's in a tree on the east side of the street.
