For what started as a small music festival, SXSW has become quite a deal. Now it has its own big building going up in downtown Austin.

This pop-up structure that was erected for SXSW is still around. It was a display area for Independent Film. Very sleek design.

We were treated to this light show on the side of a downtown building the other night. This heralds the start of South by Southwest.

Long lines for SXSW

If you look closely, you'll see that this line snakes all the way around the Butler Dance Education Center. People were waiting for a concert to open up at the Austin Music Hall.
