Parking Lot?

One day in March we heard the roar of powerful engines and looked out across to the surface lot a block away and saw these cars assembling for, I'm guessing, a road rally. Ferraris? They soon took off together through the streets.

Convergence

Where Mopac intersects with the Hike and Bike trail we have the Crenshaw pedestrian bridge (crowded here with foot traffic from the kite festival last month) that spans Lady Bird Lake below the roaring lanes of the highway.

Dogs, Dogs, and More Dogs

There were dogs as far as the eye could see at the Mighty Texas Dog Walk a couple of Saturdays ago.  I found out that later, they set a Guinness World Record for "most dogs doing yoga" and for "wearing the same bandana"!

Longhorn Alumni Band Plays

Linda and I went to the Ben-Willie-Darrell event benefiting Alzheimer's Disease Research the other night.  Here's a photo of the Longhorn Alumni Band which played for the occasion. They did a great job!

Our Back Yard

It makes me laugh when people ask us, "Don't you miss your back yard?"  Heck, I can take a pleasant twenty minute walk and be here on the great lawn at Zilker Park--which is maintained with our tax money!  In this shot, you see some folks enjoying time with their dogs. In the background there is a crane being used to put up more condos.
