Pease Park Playground

This is one terrific piece of playground equipment at Pease Park.  I would have had a field day on this thing when I was a kid.

Burger Frenzy

The line was long at Hopdoddy's on a recent afternoon.  This place packs them in, that's for sure.  The waiters were coming outside to serve drinks to people standing in the heat.

Say "Cheese"! Or at least "Coffee"!

I wonder how many people have had their photo taken by this sign on the side of Jo's Coffee on S. Congress.  These folks are having fun with it.

Clarksville Untamed

We walked down one of the dead end streets in Clarksville and, yes, there is a manufactured home neatly perched there. Gentrification is not yet complete.

Don't Ask Me to Explain

These sewn objects are colorful and cute and they look very nice.  Are passers-by supposed to sit on them to watch the traffic go down Lamar?  This type of thing is called "yarn-bombing."

Ready to Eat

It's good to see people having fun in Pease Park. This food spread was ready to go around 10:00 on a recent morning.

Good Times Calls

The operator of this decidedly old school ice cream truck at Pease Park was perched in her window using modern technology to communicate on a recent morning.  If I could still eat ice cream, I would have bought something from her.
