FFP and I walk all over the place. We see a few signs warning motorists to yield to peds in crosswalks and a few warning of a crosswalk with the walking man. But this is the only one I've seen like this. It's on East 11th just east of IH35. And honestly? I doubt the activity exceeds that of any other street we walk. Of course, no cars will change their behavior because of this, I don't think.
Pedestrians don't get much respect in Dallas, either, and no wonder -- they jaywalk all over the place, including officers of the law such as court bailiffs.
