Growing up On Lady Bird Lake

I'm thinking this is a Black-crowned Night Heron juvenile. What do you think? Spotted on Lady Bird Lake, of course.

    Could be, but very similar to the yellow-crowned night heron, according to my Peterson Field Guide. We'll have to wait for it to mature before we know for sure.
