I thought I'd put a blast from the past up today. I took this shot at a fundraiser for Austin Cabaret Theatre. In the middle here you see Lady Bird Johnson, Lynda Bird Johnson, and Liz Carpenter, who was the First Lady's press secretary. Carol Channing was the entertainment that night.
Lucky to catch them all.
ReplyDeleteWhen you say, fifteen years ago, it doesn't sound that long. But when looking at the group at the table, it somehow seems long. Some are gone, one not (or it is to be hoped, the unnamed on each end of the table are still around), but somehow it seems a long time.
