I haven't been getting a lot of pictures around Austin lately. My excuses? Very hot temperatures cooled only by some brief rain and over a week spent in NYC. Anyway, last August I shot the Hatch Green Chiles on sale at sale at Whole Foods. Their season is probably a month away...but with our record high temps we are sweating NOW.

Hotter Than a Pepper Sprout
I haven't been getting a lot of pictures around Austin lately. My excuses? Very hot temperatures cooled only by some brief rain and over a week spent in NYC. Agree. To walk outside must be at it before the sun rises. Air conditioner in car isn't enough to cool down, but at least I'm not suffocating in the heat.
