Our upstairs neighbors have a little cat that I noticed while spending some time on my own balcony which I do quite a bit these days since there is no place to go out.

Cranes, Reflected

Cranes from several construction sites in downtown Austin are reflected in the north side of the 500 W Second office building. That building houses several companies but much of the space is occupied by Google employees currently working from home.

We took a walk in the vicinity of our old house and there seemed to be a lot of people giving away questionable seating.

Never Give Up the Game

Often folks put a footstone as well as a headstone to mark the plot where their loved one is buried. These folks used the space for a 19th hole. As a friend said when I posted this on Facebook, it is also near a water hazard.

It's interesting what people will put on the memorials in cemeteries. This car is on a headstone at the Austin Memorial Park Cemetery in our old neighborhood.

Sara Hickman, a friend of ours, did this chalk mandala for us on the top of the parking garage across the street. I took photos of her work and the local newspaper ran three of them with captions. What fun!

We had a great to-go meal brought over the other night. Here you see Linda's chicken with fries.

A friend wrote this book

about her transgender son and it is getting national press. Very good read.
