A favorite place in town called Dirty Martin's is about to celebrate its 90th birthday. They have started serving breakfast and here you see one of their concoctions -- Sissy Hash -- potatoes, queso, eggs, white cheese. avocado.

Breakfast baguette

We stayed at St. Cecilia, a luxury hotel near us recently. This is what one of their breakfast repasts looks like. That baguette was superb and the egg was perfectly soft boiled.

Just another migas morning

We just returned from a trip to France and thought that a nice batch of migas with a side of guacamole would be a good start to the day. We were catching up on our reading as well and especially liked the good news in this front page story.
