Fried chicken -- easy to get Fixe-ated.

I'm sure that we have posted a shot or two of this fried chicken at Fixe in the past, but it's hard not to keep cackling about how good it is.

That is one tall order! Linda had this delicious pork sandwich at Fixe the other night. She mashed it down and then used a knife and fork on it.

Well, we ate it a few weeks ago at Fixe, but there's a lot to be said for an All-American dish on this date.

Eggs Bick Benedict (Sorry, you'll have to watch "Giant" to understand.)

I had this delightful variant on Eggs Benedict at Fixe last Sunday. Red Beans and Biscuits with a light Hollandaise. Really tasty. Eggs were perfect.

One of our favorite restaurants, Fixe, has that framed photo of us ready to welcome us to our table for my birthday dinner the other night. We love service like that!

Beef Tartare -- what a treat

Beef tartare is a perfect nightcap. This version at Fixe, close to our condo, comes with pickled gooseberries, crispy oysters, cornmeal pancakes and celery root remoulade. I had a nice glass of rose' with it. Delicious. This is our entry for the "Food" theme day ("Let's Eat"). Check out entries from our fellow posters all over the world here.

This fried chicken sandwich on a sunchoke bun is one of my favorite dishes. Available at Fixe. (The fries aren't bad, either.)

New dish at Fixe

Coffee-infused BBQ sauce on a veal brisket cooked sous vide for over 40 hours. Now that's some serious meat! Fixe is a block from where we live. We eat there a lot.
