Winter Sunrise

Occasionally we still get a nice sunrise even though we are being hemmed in by buildings. This view is over some shorter buildings and toward the lake and Rainey Street and East Avenue. Appropriately, there is a crane in the view.

Ominous Sunrise

A couple of weeks ago the clouds and the appearance of the sun made an interesting view from our balcony.

Grackle Visit

While the grackles often decide our neighborhood is a great place to roost they don't usually perch on our building, preferring the trees below or the parking garage across the way. But one day at sunrise they were all over our balcony and others on our side of the building.

This one has a softer feel than the one I posted yesterday. Beauty like this makes it easy to get out of bed in the morning.

We never get tired of sunrise here at the 360. On the left our building reflects the sunrise back at those east of us as seen in another building's reflection.

Sometimes I enjoy the morning sky without getting out of my easy chair. The sun's reflection was bouncing through the gap between the JW Marriott and the W.
