A friend wrote this book

about her transgender son and it is getting national press. Very good read.

A helpful book

A longtime friend's stepdaughter wrote this book and he asked us to help get the word out about it. It's a self-help work about overcoming depression I read it and it is quite well written. For a teen suffering from depression, it would be relevant to take advice from another person in that age bracket.

A great man

Col. Greg Gregory is one of the most remarkable men we know. Glad to see that this book about him got published.

Jo's bookreadng

On April 21, my friend Jo Ivester conducted a bookreading at BookPeople in our neighborhood. Her book is titled "The Outskirts of Hope" and is a memoir about the two years she spent in Mound Bayou, Mississippi.
