Fancy Tater Tots with Gruyere Cheese and black truffles. We had this tasty dish at a new place in the Fairmont Hotel's restaurant called the Garrison.

Change in status

The entire time I was growing up in Austin until his death in 2011, Cactus Pryor was a part of my life -- he was Austin's legendary broadcaster and the resident comedian of the LBJ administration. He's gone now, but his spirit lives on in "The Cactus Patch" that was established on the hike and bike trail that winds around Lady Bird Lake.
