Scooters have taken over our downtown area. Her you see some "bros" who are "reducing the carbon footprint." Actually, they are just joy-riding.

Our friend Eli was blowing the top off at Church on Monday one a recent -- yes, Monday night. They play at the Gallery Above The Continental Club. What a great group of players. We go there and enjoy the music as often as we can.

Anita Hill in Austin

On a recent Saturday morning, we attended a reception for Anita Hill at a nice home in West Austin. The man speaking is Jim Ritts, our friend who runs the Austin Theatre Alliance. She gave a talk at the Paramount Theatre the next night.
