A Day of NO

It's theme day in City Daily Photo Land. Signs with admonitions of 'NO' are the theme. I found a lot of choices but picked one of these tiles that my city uses to try to keep motor oil and such out of the storm sewers.

    Hi there..the sign is cute..

    However I couldn't understand why the lizard was featured in the sign.

    I suspect it is a salamander. There is supposed to be an endangered one in these parts.

    No. A salamander for sure. They probably don't want crocs or alligators dumped either, though! :)

    i like it! a good reminder not to dump stuff in the water supply - it could also mean don't dump exotic creatures - also bad consequences. it will be a good day when more folks make the connection between their faucets and their rivers and streams.
