Once a Laugher, Now Collectible

Always amazes me that something that was a failure later becomes collectible. Snapped Edsel with my iPhone at the car show the other day. The owner said he solved one problem with the car by changing the size of a fuse. Apparently Ford never figured that out.

  1. I didn't know about the failure part, but it sure is a cool car today.

  2. I remember when they first came out. Named after Edsel Ford.

I also remember seeing the first Tucker automobile at the Great Darke County Fair. It was way ahead of its time.

  3. Steffe -- one local dealership, which had been among the strongest businesses in town back in that era, went under because of these cars.
