Maybe it will be done in our lifetime--


I know that street construction takes time, but I wish we could have a respite from it sometime soon.
I shot this photo a few weeks ago from the end of our hall.

    I doubt a bit that construction anywhere would end soon. You remember what the unofficial motto is, "Dig we must." Ha, ha. You should see the work being done on I-35E and I-30 up north here in downtown Dallas -- a never-ending hash-up of roads and interchanges.
