In our building there is a new Italian coffee and spirits bar. They had an Italian scooter outside with their name on it, Blu, the other day. Apparently color is kind of a theme for places in the building. A wine bar, Mulberry, is decked in red. And a Royal Blue Grocery will move in soon.

Red and Blue
In our building there is a new Italian coffee and spirits bar. They had an Italian scooter outside with their name on it, Blu, the other day. Apparently color is kind of a theme for places in the building. A wine bar, Mulberry, is decked in red. And a Royal Blue Grocery will move in soon.

California is BLUE, Texas is RED, both good colors and useful to tell us apart I think (ha ha).

ReplyDeleteWalker, if you can still find it online, you'll see that in the Pres. election of 2004, only Travis County (Austin) and El Paso's county were a defiant blue -- out of the whole state.
ReplyDeleteThat's why some some wags call us the "People's Republic of Austin."
But yeah, it's mostly a red state.
