City People

We live in the city (downtown Austin). The theme for City Daily photo this month is "City People." From our balcony, the city is usually quite busy with people. But the pandemic has changed everything and sometimes all you can see is a downtown lady and a downtown dog out for a stroll. Click here to see what other city blogs chose for the theme day.

It's Only a Movie

You can tell it's only a movie because the waitress is so calm...and the tracks for the camera are in view. Shot Thursday by FFP.

Spy Exchange

FFP shot this from the parking garage yesterday. Gosh...wonder what was going on at Royal Blue? A movie was being shot, of course. Right on Nueces Street by our home.

Outstretched Arms

More from the street festival on Nueces. The photographer from the sculpture picture mimics the hands over head gesture of the giant chalk skeleton.

Giant Canvas

During the street festival on Nueces they made a giant canvas of the street with chalk. These festival goers stroll by the head of a skeleton some swell managed to sketch that was almost a block long. Shooting people from ten stories up is an interesting perspective, don't you think?

Muscians March for Peace

FFP took this photo Saturday from our balcony of musicians marching for peace on Nueces Street. Lots of interesting costumes and instruments. Enlarge and have a look.
