Bats!
The bats under the Congress Avenue (Ann Richards) Bridge aren't practicing social distancing. My friend Mary captured this from her Rainey Street Condo. Her views are fantastic!

Southern Sunset
Jackie caught this when the sun is setting about as far south as it gets. Shot from just west of the Third Street pedestrian bridge over Shoal Creek. The shapes of the new Second Street bridge, the new library that will open this year, and the Seaholm Condos are visible.

Sunset time
We caught shots of this gorgeous sunset from the bridge over Lady Bird Lake the other night. Loved this one.

Photo of the year
We have been living in this high rise in downtown Austin for 8 1/2 years now. Sometimes we are still amazed by the views from our living room windows when the clouds and the reflection of the sun harmonize. We had lots of choices for Best Photo of the Year, but this one stood out as symbolic of our lives in downtown Austin. Sending this photo as a Happy New Year card to all our fellow bloggers and viewers around the globe. Best to you for 2017!

Sunset
Never gets old. We should all be so lucky as to have the view that Jackie does and her skill and serendipity in capturing them for us.
