Now this is puzzling

 A friend sent us this challenging puzzle to keep us from being bored. Linda has made some progress on it and I am impressed, that's for sure!

The stockings were hung

We both have managed to hang onto our Christmas stockings after all these years. Mine dates from 1951. Linda's is from 1972 or so. I hope Santa shows up.

Yes, I have a lot of books half-read.  I remind myself of a kid who goes through a candy box leaving a lot of sweets half-eaten.

Matching up

Here is a shot of a painting I did a few years ago and some flowers we bought the other day for a dinner party. They are in the dining room of our condo now. When we brought the flowers home, I was thinking that they would make a good match for the painting. The photo is a bit blurry, since I had to turn the flash off to avoid making a light flare on the painting.
