On South First on Sunday I noticed that this old house was sporting a billboard of a complex of modern structures. I suppose someone is planning to build some modern infill there. I'm a fan of modern and there are some great examples in that area of modern infill. But this house just looks forlorn, advertising the future dreams of the lot it's on.

A House Can Dream

How is Real Estate holding up in Austin? In some markets I'm surprised if anyone is building anything.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great pic and the house looks cute.
We are having a bit of a housing crisis. One thinks this change may 'wait out the cycle.' Supposedly Austin has not experience as bad a market as some places, but I think we are feeling a lot of downward pressure on prices and have a lot of unsold stock.
