I've been a little lazy taking pictures so I'm taking you back to March 2005 for a photo from Auditorium Shores. There was an art exhibit of giant, billboard-sized works about the theme of Coexistence. I think SXSW was going on, too, so there was a fence to control access to the concert area.

Blast from the Past

i really like your blog site. i have no idea how i happened upon it, but i love the premise and simplicity - a picture a day of your city. just this past weekend, i decided to walk around the historic downtown area of my city that i live only blocks from. i took my camera with me and took some pictures of anything i saw that i thought was visually interesting. i planned to put them on my blog. and now i saw your blog. it reminded me of my pics.
ReplyDeletealso, your blog intrigues me, because i have only ever heard great things about Austin. a good friend of my husband's just moved there this year. he loves it. we have heard so many good things about it, that we have even considered moving there without ever having been there. some day we will get out there to check it out.
