Dancing the Day Away

I had to run an errand to the Butler Dance Education Center this week and while I was there I snapped a few shots. Here you see summer trainees in the new building. Note that this rehearsal studio is open to the street so passers-by can see what's happening. It's all a part of emphasizing that Ballet Austin is indeed accessible to everyone.

  1. That is really a good thing--to have the dance floor open for outsiders to see what is happening. So many places are closed off as if some porno film is being shown. This way is much better.

I hope you can come tomorrow on theme day and see me as Moses.

  2. Have always loved the ballet...considering my sister is a professional dancer, you could say I highly respect the vast amount of time and work and determination that goes into this graceful art form. Nice shot!
